In our commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable book production, we are introducing additional sustainability measures as part of our ongoing sustainability initiatives. By the end of 2023, we have been offsetting the CO₂ emissions generated by our entire print production. This initiative is implemented both directly by our collaborative partners in the printing sector and through our own offsetting efforts in conjunction with our partner, atmosfair.
Introducing a budrich green print label, we extend to our authors the option to have their books printed in an eco-friendly manner with FSC certification or even Cradle to Cradle certification. Furthermore, as of November, all newly published books and magazines are printed on FSC-certified paper.

We are dedicated to making advancements in all three areas to the best of our ability. Tangible measures like CO₂ compensation and resource-efficient alternatives are steering us in the right direction,” states publisher Barbara Budrich.
