As a non-native speaker, you are still expected to publish your research and insights in English. How do you best go about this? What are the implications for your text, your audience and your goals? Does that mean you have to publish in high-ranked international journals at all cost? Looking at the various options, Barbara Budrich helps you evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of your English texts and helps you identify the most important criteria to take an informed decision as regards the best publisher or journal for your publications.

In these free webinars, held once a quarter, you receive insights from publisher Barbara Budrich and have the opportunity to ask your own questions. The webinars always take place on Thursdays from 4 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Prior registration is required.

From 18 to 21 August 2026, the European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) will take place at Tampere University, Finland. This year’s conference theme is “Knowing and Acting: The changing conditions and potentials of education research”.

About the EERA and the ECER 2026 conference
The aim of the ‘European Educational Research Association’ (EERA) is to further high quality educational research for the benefit of education and society. The association’s activities, such as the annual conference, season schools for emerging researchers and publishing, build on and promote free and open dialogue and critical discussion and take a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to theory, methods and research ethics.
EERA membership is made up of more than 40 national and regional Educational Research Associations from all parts of Europe. It is governed by the Council and the Executive Committee. The academic work is organised in thematic networks.
