The European Conference on Politics and Gender (ECPG) is organised by the Standing Group on Gender and Politics and takes place at Ghent University in Belgium. Since its inception in 2009, the biennial conference aims to advance the study of gender and sexuality in politics, strengthen ties within the global community of scholars in the field at all career stages, and engage with research on race and intersectionality, sexuality, men and masculinity, and those who identify as non-binary, genderqueer, or intersex.
