Ravindra Saxena, founder of Sara Books shares some insights.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Dear Ravindra, who is behind Sara Books and what is Sara Books?<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sarabooksindia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sara Books India<\/a> was founded in 2004 by Ravindra Saxena, who previously worked with Reed International and Elsevier Science. He has over 40 years of experience in publishing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What services does Sara Books offer publishers who want to distribute their books on the Indian subcontinent?<\/h3>\n<p>Sara Books was established to represent foreign publishers in India, focusing on the sales and marketing of their publications. Over time, we also began offering Indian reprints and distribution services.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How has the company developed in recent years?<\/h3>\n<p>Sara Books started with just one British publisher, Woodhead Publishing, UK. Over the years, we have expanded and now represent a wide range of British, American, and European publishers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What are the current challenges for the distribution of academic publications in your region, and how do you address them?<\/h3>\n<p>Currently, foreign books have become increasingly expensive due to the weak Indian currency.
