With a strong emphasis on ensuring broad public engagement with academic work, Verlag Barbara Budrich shares the Open Book Collective\u2019s mission of promoting open and accessible scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>The Open Book Collective (<a href=\"https:\/\/openbookcollective.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OBC<\/a>) is a registered charity that brings together open access book publishers, open publishing service providers, and knowledge institutions, including libraries, working in collaboration to secure a more sustainable and equitable future for open access books. They provide support to publishers working collectively on the production and dissemination of open access books.<\/p>\n<p>Verlag Barbara Budrich\u2019s open access publishing aligns strongly with the values of the OBC, reinforcing the idea that knowledge should be freely available and widely shared.
